changing the Electrical conductivity

In the last Filter Stage we give our water the last touch with our Hydrogen Server which works with a PEM cell which is changing the Electrical conductivity of our Water This is done with electrical voltages, which evaporates the water and produces hydrogen. For a better understanding here a more detailed explanation: PEM stands for “Proton Exchange Membrane” or also “Polymer Electrolyte Membrane”. As the name suggests, the membrane is the most important characteristic of this type of fuel cell. The membrane – which is similar in structure to a breathable textile fabric – separates the electrodes (anode/cathode) electrically and is also gas-tight at the same time, so that the hydrogen cannot diffuse to the oxygen side. However, the membrane is proton-conducting, so it allows the H+ hydrogen ions to pass. Both electrodes are covered with a catalyst, which is responsible for splitting the gas molecules (H2/O2). This is done by releasing or accepting electrons. The excess of electrons at the anode or the lack of electrons at the cathode creates a potential difference between the electrodes and thus an electrical voltage. This process does not produce waste water as with the ionizer.
